Rio real property for sale

Rio Real Property Area Guide

Rio Real is an upmarket area, built around the Rio Real Golf course and has the major attraction of being less than 5km to the centre of Marbella.

There is a small hotel, golf clubhouse and, on the beach side of the road, a beach restaurant but apart from that, there are no amenities in Rio Real. It’s a quiet area with good quality properties but for restaurants and any sort of shopping or night life you need to take the 5 minute drive into Marbella.

A very distinguishing landmark in Rio Real is the 19 story tower block of apartments called Torre Real (Royal Tower). It’s the Read More [...]

Estepona beach

Estepona Property Area Guide

Estepona Overview

Estepona is about 30km further west than Marbella and so therefore a bit further away from Malaga airport. It’s often considered to be the poor version of Marbella and whilst it does not have the same glitz and glamor of its famous neighbor it is, actually, very similar in many ways.

It has a lovely old town which has been vastly improved in recent years with the town hall spending a lot of money making the streets and squares really beautiful. It retains a very Spanish feel to it particularly at the beginning of July when they hold Fiesta y Feria week – a week long carnival of dancing and eating in very Spanish style.

It then has a very long Read More [...]

Cabopino property area guide

Cabopino Property Area Guide

Overview of Cabopino

Cabopino is considered to be a bit of an undiscovered gem on the Costa del Sol. Drive along the main road and whilst you may see the sign to Cabopino, unless you turned off the road and down towards the beach, you would have no idea how delightful the place is.

There is a small marina with a small selection of bars and restaurants looking out over the boats. It is small, and much quieter than say, the Puerto Banus Marina, and it’s really geared up for family holidays. If you are looking for wild nightlife this is not the place for you.

In front of the Marina is one of the Read More [...]
