Overview of El Rosario
El Rosario is an established housing area less than 10km from the centre of Marbella. Officially the area encompasses two areas, either side of the main road but people generally the think of El Rosario as the up market area of mainly villas on the Northern (non beachside of the road). This area has one entrance controlled by a security gate and is an area divided into plots on which individual villas have been built.
At the bottom of the urbanisation is a small Commercial area which has a bakery, supermarket, newsagent and a few bars and restaurants.
